Ladies: How high heels shoes can damage your leg.

In a research carried out by a bio motion team in university of Stanford. The knees of
Some healthy women were scanned as they walked
at normal pace in flat shoes, 1½ in heels and
3½ in heels.
They found out that in high heels, women's knees
are held in such a bent position and in this position their joints looked and performed like
aged or damaged joints, thus  increasing the risk
of osteoarthritis.Physiotherapist and osteopath Tim Allardyce  says due to the odd angle of the leg whenever high heels shoes are wore, there is a 25% increase in the downward pressure of the leg  placing significant stress on the
kneecaps.high heels can also put
dangerous pressure on knee joints, wearing
away cartilage - the body's natural  shock
absorber - and increasing the risk of
osteoarthritis.
High heels shoes can also cause painful neck problems due to bad posture caused by wearing them.
